The first twelve years were spent in life sciences and ingredients — product manager, then commodity trader, then sales director at Galactic, where Pascal Delvenne built worldwide distribution channels from scratch and the business became the second-largest lactic-acid manufacturer in the world. As Director Asia Pacific at Tate & Lyle, he advised on the greenfield programme that resulted in a US$180M investment in a Singapore biotech facility.

Since 2005, the focus has shifted to operational and commercial transformation. The Asia Pacific build-out of Steelcase delivered a 5× expansion in regional operating income — three offices opened, top line tripled, P&L discipline maintained throughout. The manufacturing turnaround at Bekaert-Deslee Indonesia swung EBIT from –US$335K to +US$1.24M in 18 months. The restructuring of HRD Antwerp rebuilt stakeholder confidence and produced the QR-traceability play that opened China for the brand.

The relationship with Kokido spans two decades — from technical advisor and patent filings in 2002, through preparing the founder's strategic exit and securing an 8× EBITDA multiple with BWT Group, to leading the post-acquisition integration as Chief Strategy Officer of BWT. Revenue doubled in the 24 months that followed.

Alongside these mandates, Pascal has maintained sustained board-level engagement — including a long-running advisory relationship since 2008 with one of Belgium's leading specialty-malting houses, now scaling into green ingredient manufacturing across two East-Belgian facilities totalling 60,000 m².

Today, Klear is the vehicle for selective interim mandates and advisory engagements where the brief is clear: deliver.

Operating philosophy

The work is done on the floor, not from a slide deck. Pascal starts every mandate by walking the operation, reading the numbers, and listening to the team that runs it before proposing anything. Decisions are made situationally, transparently, and with the people responsible for executing them. The hand-over begins on day one.

What an engagement with Klear isn't: a long diagnostic followed by a presentation. The objective is always a measurable result against the lever the business hired the mandate for — profitability, exit, integration, operational reset — and a team that can hold the gain after Pascal leaves.

Sectors and geographies

Industrial manufacturing, life sciences and specialty ingredients, building products, certification and testing services, contract furniture, and selective deep-tech and infrastructure mandates. Pascal is based in Singapore and works across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.
